Rumours of Athiya’s pregnancy initially surfaced in April when her father, actor Suniel Shetty, made a playful “nana” (grandfather) comment on a dance reality show. At the time, a source clarified that there was no truth to the speculation, noting that Suniel’s remark had been taken out of context.
KL Rahul and Athiya’s relationship began in 2019 after they met through a mutual friend. The couple tied the knot in 2023 at Suniel’s Khandala farmhouse, surrounded by close family and friends.
