The International Cricket Council (ICC) expressed on Thursday the “satisfaction” over pitches used during the Test series between Pakistan and England.
According to details, the ICC said: “No complaint has been received pertaining to the pitches used in Rawalpindi.”
Earlier, Pakistan had managed to clinch the home series by bludgeoning England 2-1, which marked their first series win in home shores after three years.
This was also the first time that Pakistan had managed to win the red-ball series under the captaincy of Shan Masood, who was under a lot of pressure before the series.
Pakistan had lost an embarrassing first Test before the Green Shirts staged a terrific comeback by making a drastic change in their squad, with the addition of Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, Kamran Ghulam, and Zahid Mahmood.
The change had done wonders for Pakistan as they had decided to go with the spinners, who left no stone unturned to not only prove their mettle but win matches for their country.
