Federal government has announced a reduction in sugar prices at utility stores, bringing the cost down to Rs.140 per kilogram.
According to the latest notification, sugar prices have been cut by Rs.13 per kg, providing relief to consumers amid rising inflation. Previously, sugar was sold at Rs.153 per kg.
The notification specified that sugar prices, initially lowered from Rs.152 to Rs.149, have now been further reduced.
The price adjustment is part of ongoing efforts to make essential commodities more affordable for the public.
