Former US President and 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump cast his vote in Florida on Tuesday, expressing high confidence in his prospects for victory.
Arriving at a polling station in Palm Beach, Trump was accompanied by his wife, Melania Trump, as he submitted his ballot ahead of Election Day.
In a conversation with CNN reporters after casting his vote, Trump conveyed optimism, stating, "I hear we’re doing very well everywhere.” Confident in his appeal among voters, the former president added, “It won’t even be close,” projecting a sweeping win across key battleground states.
However, Trump voiced his concerns about the lengthy process involved in certifying election results, describing the anticipated waiting period as frustrating. “But it’s gonna take a long time to certify,” he noted, alluding to his previous contentions over election results and the importance of ensuring prompt and transparent reporting.
