Renowned Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle on Sunday lamented the Indian national cricket team’s shortcomings against New Zealand as the visitors became the first team in 24 years to beat the Rohit Sharma-led side in their home soil.
Taking to X, Bhogle pointed out India’s lapses, saying, “Losing a series is bad enough.”
“But to lose to pace, to spin, and in the heat, all three is embarrassing,” he maintained.
India’s next assignment is the baseball series against Australia.
The questions had been raised after the whitewash about how India will rebound themselves after their morale was dampened by the Tom Latham-led Black Caps.
