Former Pakistan legendary batter Zaheer Abbas was approved as a member of the cricket body’s Board of Governors (BOG) on Friday.
According to details, with Abbas’s approval, the number of BoG members reached 13. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi was also among the BoG members.
Abbas will be the only cricketer in the current BoG.
The 77-year-old ex-cricketer, who is widely dubbed “Asian Bradman,” will represent the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in the BoG.
