The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has increased the price of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs2.89 per kilogram, bringing the new price to Rs254.19 per kilogram.
According to details, the change is part of the regulatory body's ongoing adjustments to energy prices. The official notification issued by Ogra also highlighted a significant increase in the price of a standard 11.8-kilogram LPG cylinder, which has risen by Rs34.09.
Consequently, the price of the domestic cylinder has increased from Rs2,965.38 to Rs2,999.47.
The new pricing structure is set to impact consumers across the country, with many expected to feel the effects in their monthly energy expenses.
