Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Col General Sergey Yurvavich Istrakov, acknowledged on Friday the professionalism of Pakistan's armed forces.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Russian military officer is on an official visit to Pakistan, where he met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, at Joint Staff Headquarters.
During the discussions, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the positive trajectory of bilateral defense cooperation.
They addressed the evolving security situation in the region, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to promote regional peace and stability.
General Istrakov praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and recognized their sacrifices in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
