In two separate operations at Karachi Airport, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration arrested eight passengers attempting to travel to Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan using fake documents.
Among the arrested is a police officer from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who was planning to travel to Germany.
Four women, led by a suspect named Akram, were apprehended while attempting to travel to Saudi Arabia under the guise of performing Umrah, with the intention of begging in the country.
Meanwhile, Salman, Mohammad Nauman, and Mohammad Hussain were detained for trying to travel to Azerbaijan on fraudulent study visas.
Further investigation revealed that a fake German visa was found on the mobile phone of Mohammad Hussain.
The suspects were allegedly planning to secure on-arrival German visas in Azerbaijan after paying between Rs300,000 to Rs800,000.
