The Pakistan Army has launched a special initiative to provide lifetime medical facilities to East Pakistan Civil Armed Forces (EPCAF) soldiers and their families. This move comes under the directive of Army Chief General Asim Munir.
The process of issuing free medical treatment cards to 1,713 EPCAF veterans commenced on September 23. A vibrant ceremony was held at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Malir, where 1,118 soldiers received their medical treatment cards. Similar events are taking place in other districts across the country.
This healthcare initiative aims to ensure comprehensive medical coverage for the veterans who served in the former East Pakistan. The beneficiaries have expressed their appreciation for the Pakistan Army's effort, reaffirming their commitment to sacrifice for the nation as they have done in the past.
The provision of these medical cards signifies a long-term commitment to the welfare of these veterans, acknowledging their service and sacrifices for the country. This measure is expected to significantly improve the quality of life for these former servicemen and their families by addressing their healthcare needs.
