A recent terrorist attack in Musa Khel district, Balochistan, has left several civilians dead, according to local reports. The incident, attributed to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), involved the targeting of Punjabi passengers on buses and trucks.
An eyewitness, the widow of one of the victims, provided details of the attack. According to her account, the assailants stopped vehicles and checked passengers' identification cards, singling out Punjabi workers. The attackers then separated these individuals from other passengers.
"We heard gunfire after five people didn't return to the vehicle," the widow stated. She reported that survivors spent the night in a nearby mosque before being evacuated by Pakistani military personnel.
The victim was reportedly returning home to Punjab's Pakpattan district on an 8-day leave when the attack occurred. The incident has left families grappling with loss and uncertainty, with the widow mentioning her children's confusion over their father's absence.
Authorities have condemned the attack, describing it as an act of terrorism. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
