YouTuber Dr. Umar Adil has issued an unconditional apology to renowned TV anchorperson after facing legal action for making scandalous allegations against her.
This apology comes after his recent arrest by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) earlier this month for using abusive language against female journalists on social media.
Dr. Umar Adil had previously directed inappropriate remarks towards Ghareeda Farooqui, leading her to file a complaint with the authorities. Despite Farooqui's initial request for an apology, Adil refused, which resulted in his arrest following her complaint. However, he was later granted bail by the court.
In a recently surfaced video shared on social media, Dr. Umar Adil offered a heartfelt and unconditional apology to Ghareeda Farooqui. In the video, he expressed deep regret for his actions, stating, "This is my sincere and heartfelt apology to anchor Ghareeda Farooqui. I understand that she has been deeply hurt and upset by a podcast."
Dr. Adil claimed that his remarks were manipulated by the podcast host, who edited and released them in a misleading manner. He emphasized that he holds no ill feelings towards Ghareeda Farooqui, adding, "We are professionals working in the media, and I have immense respect for female anchors, especially."
Acknowledging the impact of his words, Dr. Umar Adil further stated, "If I have unintentionally or intentionally hurt Ghareeda Farooqui, I apologize to her from the bottom of my heart." He concluded by expressing his hope that Ghareeda Farooqui would withdraw her complaint, emphasizing that his apology was sincere and unconditional.
