Federal Minister of Privatisation Abdul Aleem Khan and Belarusian Ambassador Andrei Metelitsa discussed on Monday the bilateral cooperation and trade opportunities.
According to the details, Aleem Khan held a meeting with the Belarusian ambassador to discuss potential joint projects in the sectors of communications and transport. Both parties explored mutual interests and bilateral cooperation, with an emphasis on enhancing trade through improved transit routes.
Khan emphasised the potential for increased trade between Pakistan and Belarus, highlighting the importance of developing transit routes through Afghanistan, China, and Central Asia to Eastern Europe.
He noted that a trade corridor and improved road networks would be beneficial for the entire region.
The Belarusian envoy expressed his satisfaction with his stay in Pakistan, praising the local hospitality and the quality of fruits and vegetables. The discussions underscored a shared interest in strengthening ties and advancing joint initiatives to benefit both nations.
