Territories stopped a convoy of vehicles coming from Punjab including a passenger bus and killed 23 people in the firing incident that occurred in Rarasham area of Tingri tehsil located 72 kilometers from district Musa Khel in Balochistan.
The accused stopped the vehicles on the national highway and fired at the passengers in the same old pattern in which various labourers were gunned down in past incidents in the southwestern province.
A heavy contingent of Levies and police reached the spot. Balochistan Levies officials said that the dead bodies of the passengers are being shifted to the hospital.

Vehicles torched after killings
The Superintendent of Police said that terrorists stopped the vehicles and off-loaded the passengers, checked their National Identity Cards (NICs) killed them on the spot, and later torched various vehicles.

President Asif Zardari condemned the brutal killing of passengers in Musa Khel—the President's expression of deep grief over the loss of precious human lives.
The killing of innocent people is the killing of the entire humanity. “Terrorists are enemies of the country, nation, and humanity. Terrorists involved in humanitarian killings must be brought to justice,” the president said.
He vowed to continue operations against terrorists. President prayed for the forgiveness for the deceased.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack on a passenger bus in Balochistan and sought forgiveness for the martyrs.
The PM directed authorities to provide immediate medical aid to the injured ones. Shehbaz Sharif said the law enforcement agencies should immediately investigate the incident.
“The responsible terrorists will be severely punished. Any type of terrorism is not acceptable in the country,” the premier.
“The war will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism from the country,” said the Prime Minister.
Mohsin Naqvi condemns cowardly attack

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi's expression of grief and regret over the death of the passengers.
“The extreme brutality and cruelty were done near Musa Khel,” they said. “Terrorists showed brutality by targeting innocent people,” Mohsin Naqvi.
“Terrorists and their facilitators will not be able to escape the fateful end,” he said. Naqvi said in the war against terrorism, every class, including the security forces, made sacrifices.
The government is equally involved in the grief of the families of the deceased, he added.
Balochistan CM condemns terrorist attack
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti condemned the terrorist incident in Musa Khel.
Balochistan chief executive expressed deep sorrow and regret over the killing of 23 people.
He expressed condolences to the families of those who died in the cowardly action as terrorists targeted innocent people near Musa Khel.
“Terrorists and facilitators will not be able to escape from the terrible end,” Sarfaraz Bugti claimed.
Earlier, two Punjabi laborers were killed by firing by unknown persons in the Tamp area of Turbat, Balochistan.
Police said firing by unknown persons in Turbat. Both deceased belong to Punjab.

Earlier, 12 people were killed in two separate firing incidents early on Saturday morning along the National Highway in Nushki district of Balochistan. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took notice of the harrowing incident and sought a report.
The first incident took place as a bus carrying passengers from Quetta to Taftan was targeted by armed assailants. Nine passengers were kidnapped from the bus and subsequently shot to death.
