PTI founder Imran Khan in an informal talk to journalists in Adiala Jail revealed he postponed the August 8 public gathering of PTI to avoid another ‘May 9’.
PTI founder claimed PMLN supremo Nawaz Sharif's backpack was ready so he could fly to London and he just needed to carry the essentials.
Imran Khan said yesterday's public meeting (jalsa) was supposed to be held but postponed so that the new May 9 does not occur.
“If anyone stopped on September 8, no one would be stopped,” the PTI founder threatened.
Imran Khan gave another order to his party workers, “The Party should not mind any obstacles on September 8.”
“I am the head of the largest political party in the country, so I demand an open trial (of Gen (rtd) Faiz Hameed),” he said.
To a question, about who sent a meeting message to Azam Swati last night, the PTI founder suggested skipping the question for some other time.
“Whenever you see the frolic in the PML-N, then you must understand that they are afraid of talking to our establishment,” Imran Khan said.
