A ‘Plant for Pakistan’ campaign has been initiated under the Green Pakistan Initiative. Work has been started to reduce pollution and promote plantation in different districts of Pakistan.
The Plan for Pakistan plantation campaign was launched at St. Paul's Church in Rawalpindi on the occasion of Independence Day under which saplings were planted across the country to make Pakistan greener and prosperous.
The Christian community, including a large number of officers and youth, participated in this tree-plantation campaign and planted a tree in their names.
The masses have expressed their hope that in the coming days, various plantation campaigns are organized so that a green Pakistan can be achieved.
