The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has announced that all colleges in the region will remain open on August 5, despite the ongoing summer vacation.
This decision is part of the observance of "Youm-e-Istehsal," a day designated to condemn the actions of Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.
In an official announcement issued by the department of education, it has been directed to keep the colleges open on August 5. The department has directed that colleges should conduct special activities on August 5.
The activities will involve both staff and students, focusing on raising awareness and expressing condemnation against the oppression and atrocities on innocent Kashmiris by Indian forces.
The department stated that the colleges will facilitate these activities to ensure a meaningful observance of the day. Students and staff are expected to participate in events aimed at highlighting the situation in Kashmir and demonstrating solidarity with those affected.
