The Pakistan Embassy in Paris hosted a significant event to promote the Prime Minister's Youth Programme (PMYP), focusing on youth empowerment and development. The session was delivered by the Special Representative to the Prime Minister Youth Programme, Mr. Rizwan Anwar, and Ms. Maha Jamil, who addressed the audience with inspiring insights.
The event commenced with a keynote session delivered by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France, Mr. Asim Iftikhar Ahmed. His speech underscored the importance of engaging the Pakistani youth diaspora in France and highlighted the collaborative efforts between Pakistan and France to foster youth development.
Attendees included members of the Pakistani and French youth diaspora, as well as prominent youth leaders from both nations. The session served as a platform to discuss various initiatives under the PMYP, aimed at equipping the youth with essential skills, promoting entrepreneurship, and fostering innovation.
Mr. Rizwan Anwar and Ms. Maha Jamil elaborated on the core components of the PMYP, emphasizing the programme's commitment to education, employment, engagement, and environment. They highlighted ongoing projects, such as the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Program and the Skills Development Programme, which have already benefitted thousands of young individuals.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, reaffirming the commitment to achieving the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding youth development.
