Yashma Gill, a popular actress in Lollywood, expressed in an interview that she admires Babar Azam, calling him her favourite cricketer and noting the pride he brings to Pakistan by representing the country on international platforms.
She mentioned that although she hasn't received messages from cricketers or met any of them, she sees no issue in forming friendships with them, including Babar Azam, as they are national heroes.
