The Pakistan Coast Guard has carried out successful anti-smuggling operations, resulting in the seizure of illegal diesel and the arrest of undocumented immigrants.
During routine checks based on intelligence information, authorities intercepted two Toyota cars at the Uthal checkpoint, confiscating 10,370 liters of illegal Iranian diesel.
In a separate operation between Lasbela and Hub, officials seized 5,270 liters of diesel from one car and two jeeps on a dirt track. The vehicles were also impounded.
The Coast Guard's efforts extended to combating illegal immigration. In the Dasti Nala area of Gwadar, five undocumented immigrants were apprehended. A speed boat was also seized in this operation.
Legal proceedings have been initiated for all cases, as part of the Coast Guard's ongoing anti-narcotics and anti-smuggling campaign.
