Floods in Balochistan
In Balochistan, the situation is more severe, as heavy rainfall has caused significant flooding in various areas. The province is grappling with floodwaters flowing through its rivers and canals. The Sibbi region is particularly affected, with a 2,000-cubic-meter flood channel currently passing through the Nari River, according to the irrigation department.
The Lehri River is also experiencing substantial flood flow, with a flood line measuring 3,600 square meters.
The local authorities are monitoring the situation closely and have issued warnings to residents in the affected areas to take necessary precautions. Emergency services are on standby to assist with any potential evacuations or rescue operations.
