The Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast indicating a mix of rain and intense heat across various regions of the country today.
In the northeastern regions of Balochistan, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there is a chance of rain, providing some respite from the heat. Islamabad is expected to remain partly cloudy, with rain anticipated in a few areas.
However, the weather will remain predominantly hot and dry in other parts of the country. Turbat is likely to experience record-breaking heat, with temperatures expected to soar to 48 degrees Celsius, as per the Met Department.
In Islamabad, the temperature is forecast to reach 34 degrees Celsius, while both Lahore and Karachi will see temperatures around 37 degrees Celsius, the department says.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience hot and partly cloudy weather in most areas, with the possibility of rain and thunder in some districts. This rain could provide temporary relief from the prevailing heat.
Lahore weather
In Lahore, the recent rain has reduced the heat intensity, resulting in more pleasant weather conditions. The maximum temperature in Lahore is expected to reach 38 degrees Celsius. The humidity level is currently at 60%, and winds are blowing at a speed of 10km per hour. There is also a chance of dusty winds during the evening hours.
