The Pakistan Army, in collaboration with doctors from District Health Quarters, organized a free medical camp at the Government Dispensary in Mithi District, Tharparkar.
The camp provided comprehensive medical services to over 1,000 patients, including 285 men, 413 women, and 316 children.
Specialist doctors from various departments, including gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, and pathology, were present to offer their expertise.
The camp facilitated laboratory tests for dengue, malaria, hepatitis B and C, enteric fever, pregnancy, urine RE, blood sugar, and ultrasound.
Additionally, free medicines and supplements were distributed to the patients, and a minor OT facility was made available.
Vaccinations were administered, and hygiene and first aid kits were distributed among patients and local health visitors/midwives to promote safe and hygienic practices.
The camp also provided medical guidance on diseases such as anemia, URTI, malaria, dengue fever, gastroenteritis, nutrition, diabetes, UTI, hypertension, and antenatal care.
Special attention was given to women's health issues, including maternal and child healthcare, infertility, urticaria, pruritic, and dermatitis.
Residents of Mithi District expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Army for providing free medical treatment and testing facilities.
