Another disturbing incident of animal cruelty was reported in Rawat where an individual has cut off both ears of a female donkey. In Rawat, Rawalpindi, a person severed both ears of a donkey.
The owner of the donkey has been seeking justice, taking the speechless animal around the police station. Despite the incident occurring on June 4th, it took 14 days for the Rawat police to register a case.
The investigation is ongoing, and the police assure to register a case. Police said various legal cases between the parties are in court.
Earlier, a donkey’s leg was chopped off in Hyderabad. Before that, an 8-month-old baby camel’s leg was chopped off in Shangar drawing widespread condemnation from all walks of life.
There are animal rights laws in Pakistan but a little implementation made the case easy for the violators.
