Lahore CCPO Bilal Siddique kamyana and Punjab Prosecutor General Punjab Farhad Ali Shah held a meeting and agreed to make departmental coordination more effective between the Lahore Police and the Prosecutor General Department of Punjab.
Both devised a plan of action for the timely completion of challans of pending cases. It was decided in principle to provide prosecutors with offices in the police stations of Lahore to identify legal loopholes causing delays in under-investigation cases.
Lahore CCPO said: “The purpose of the criminal justice system is to redress the grievances of the people.”
Farhad Ali Shah: “We have to work together to establish a crime-free society.”
