Students from the Institute of Southern Punjab experienced a day with the Pakistan Army at the Multan Garrison, furthering a deeper understanding of military life and the armed forces' role in national security.
During their visit, the students paid homage at the martyrs' memorial, laying flowers and offering prayers for those who sacrificed their lives for the country. They received a comprehensive briefing on the Pakistan Army's key contributions, enduring sacrifices, and rigorous professional training.
The students were given a glimpse into the military lifestyle and enjoyed a guided tour of the armored vehicles. They were also introduced to various weapons and first aid procedures, and learned about the firing process.
The visit aimed to strengthen the bond between the civilian population and the military. It provided the students with a firsthand look at the dedication and efforts of the Pakistan Army.
Expressing their admiration, the students remarked, "We now understand the immense effort the Pakistan Army puts into protecting us." They added, "Contrary to the negative portrayals on social media, we saw today that the Pakistan Army is fully committed to maintaining peace and order, both at the borders and within the country."
Despite the harsh summer conditions, the students observed the high morale and relentless training of the soldiers, leaving them with a renewed sense of respect and appreciation for the armed forces.
