Pakistan Coast Guard successfully intercepted a boat carrying a substantial amount of illegal drugs on May 23. Acting on a tip-off, officers seized the vessel in the coastal region of Balochistan at 10 pm.
Upon searching the boat, authorities discovered 273 kilograms of methamphetamine, commonly known as 'ice'. The estimated street value of the confiscated drugs is $54.3 million.
This operation underscores the Pakistan Coast Guard's ongoing commitment to combating drug smuggling and disrupting the activities of organized crime syndicates. Officials have affirmed their dedication to continue these aggressive anti-drug efforts, aiming to make Pakistan a drug-free country.

"We are determined to fight against the drug and smuggling mafia with full force," stated a Coast Guard spokesperson. "This seizure is a testament to our unwavering resolve."
