The Director-General of PDMA has instructed Deputy Commissioners across the province to remain vigilant and ensure that concerned departments are on high alert to deal with any emergencies that may arise.
The PDMA control room is conducting 24-hour monitoring of the situation, and rescue agencies, including 1122, have been directed to keep their machinery and staff prepared for immediate response.
Furthermore, the PDMA has emphasized the importance of clearing water drainage from residential areas promptly to prevent flooding and minimize damage.
