Nominated Punjab governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said on Friday that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur's "attitude reflects the culture of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)."
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Khan said: "Joining hands with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is a need of the hour for the sake of the country."
He expressed his gratitude to the PPP leadership for being nominated as the Punjab governor. "Not only, the PPP worker, but the person will get respect at the Governor House," he said.
"The merits should be upheld in terms of appointing the vice chancellor of the university," he said.
"It would have been better for the PTI founder to sit in the opposition with acceptance, considering that he did not bag a majority."
– Tourism can set stage for country's economic stability: Kundi –
Separately, few days back, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said on Wednesday that the promotion of tourism could set the stage for the country's economic stability.
According to the details, Kundi reached the Department of Tourism. On this occasion, Kundi held a meeting with the Sindh Minister for Culture, Heritage, and Tourism, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah.
He acknowledged the opportunities to promote tourism in both KP and Sindh. "There are the best spots both in KP and Sindh to promote tourism," he added.
Expressing his thoughts, Shah said, "The foreign tourists will visit the country if the tourism sector is uplifted."
"There is a need to work on the numerous spots in line with religious tourism," Shah added.
