Bollywood star Alia Bhatt was the "most visible" celebrity at the 2024 Met Gala -- not supermodels or pop stars. On Monday night in New York, Alia made her second-ever appearance at the Met Gala, lighting up social media with her photos, videos, and gorgeous Sabyasachi sari.
In terms of visibility, Sabyasachi and Alia reportedly left behind the biggest brands, influencers, and celebrities, according to a report on the influencer marketing platform Lefty.
Alia Bhatt defeated Kim Kardashian (5), Kendall Jenner (2), Kylie Jenner (3), and even Doja Cat in a towel (15). Sabyasachi beat Burberry and even Oscar de la Renta. View the ranking by clicking this link:

During her second appearance at the renowned fashion gala, which takes place every year at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the actor stole the show with her sophisticated sari that hung down to a 30-foot train. The couture sari, created by 163 artisans, honoured 'The Garden of Time', the official Met Gala dress code for 2024.
It was heavily embroidered by hand using silk floss, beads, sequins, semi-precious stones and fringed with glass beads. According to the designer's official Instagram page, the hand-crafted blouse was studded with emeralds, Basra pearls, tourmalines and multicoloured sapphires.

Bhatt wore the Bengal Royal collection from Sabyasachi High Jewellery, which is studded with diamonds, tourmalines, sapphires, and emeralds, to finish the ensemble.
The actor, 31, debuted at the 2023 Met Gala wearing a Prabal Gurung gown.
Bhatt wrote on Instagram that the ensemble "took a life of its own" as the team worked to interpret the universal theme of the Gala in an Indian way.

"Creating this has been quite an experience… fun and stressful in equal parts. It has taken a collective effort of 163 dedicated individuals, including master craftspeople, embroiderers, artists, and dyers, investing a total of 1965-man hours to create this ethereal saree. As I wear this outfit, I feel incredibly grateful to embody this exquisite creation, a testament to boundless love and painstaking effort," wrote the actor, acknowledging the designers.
