Flour prices began to decline along with the arrival of new wheat into the market. Twenty kg of wheat bag price now dropped by 800 rupees.
According to the details, in Faisalabad, after the reduction of 800 rupees, a bag of 20 kg flour started selling for up to 2 thousand rupees, the price of a 50 kg bag of flour has decreased to 1500 rupees.
Citizens say that earlier flour was 150, now it is 100 rupees, fix its price till next season, they also demanded to reduce the price of ghee by at least 100 rupees.
On the other hand, gristmill flour is also being sold at 100 rupees per kg to 160 rupees in the city. The mill owners say that the price of wheat has come down a lot, wheat is being sold at 2,800 per 40 kg due to which the price of flour has come down, and the less privileged class is benefiting from it.
