Prince Harry has confirmed he won’t see his father King Charles during his visit to the UK this week due to the monarch’s “full programme”.
Harry landed in the UK on Tuesday (local time) for a series of events linked to the Invictus Games. He is expected to stay for three days before flying to Nigeria where he will be met by his wife Meghan.
A spokesperson for Harry has responded to “speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week”.
They said: “It, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme. “The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
