There exists such a constituency in the country from which both the winner and loser became rulers following the much anticipated general elections held on February 8.
Both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and newly-appointed KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi hail from Dera Ismail Khan and locked horns against each other from NA-44 in the polls.
Importantly, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman had also contested the election from the same constituency.
CM Gandapur had emerged victorious from the constituency by defeating both Rehman and Kundi in both the general elections of 2018 and 2024, respectively.

Apart from that, Gandapur had also emerged victorious from the provincial seat in the constituency, which he retained to become the chief minister of the province.
Meanwhile, Kundi who was drubbed at the hands of CM Gandapur, had now been appointed as the constitutional head of the province by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

In this way, both the winner and the loser became the rulers of KP.
Earlier, Kundi had defeated Rehman in the 2008 general elections and was appointed as the NA deputy speaker by the PPP.
