Sahibzada Hamid Raza, the head of the Sunni Ittehad Council, has suggested the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders who joined his party for the elections consider resignations from the assemblies.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Sunni Ittehad Council chief said that PTI leadership needs to take to the streets after resigning from the assemblies if PTI Founder Imran Khan did not get justice in the coming weeks.
PTI leadership need to consider resigning from assemblies and coming out on streets if Imran Khan didn't get justice in coming weeks , we are not sitting in the assemblies to give this government a breathing space . I will be the 1st one to resign from National Assembly for IK .

Hamid Raza further proposed the PTI lawmakers consider resignations from assemblies. He questioned what the point was in sitting in assemblies when Imran Khan was not going to be released. If the former prime minister did not get justice soon, they would not sit in assemblies to give this government "a breathing space".
"I will be the first one to resign from the National Assembly for Imran Khan," Raza maintained.
