The federal cabinet Friday approved the extension of proof of registration (POR) cards for Afghan refugees till June 30, 2024.
According to the announcement of the meeting presided over by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the cabinet has approved the establishment of a special court in Makran division for anti-narcotics cases.
The Special Court will have jurisdiction over Panjgur, Kech, Gwadar, Hub, Lasbela.
The cabinet was briefed on the privatization of PIA and the availability of facilities at airports. The cabinet has made a policy of using drone technology in the agricultural sector and directed to submit for approval. The Cabinet was informed in the briefing that several companies have expressed interest in the privatization of PIA.
The Cabinet also approved the appointment of four ex-officio members of the Board of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan.
The cabinet also approved a special court will be established in Makran division for anti-narcotics cases.
