12 terrorists were killed in separate operations in North Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan and Panjgur, the military’s media affairs wing said on Saturday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the slain terrorists during the intelligence-based operations in North Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, and Panjgur.
A wanted terrorist, Asad alias Hasrat, was killed along with his companion in Panjgur IBO.
Separately, the security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, ISPR said.
Eight more terrorists were “successfully neutralised” by the security forces in Dera Ismail Khan.
A sanitisation operation was being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
The security forces resolved to valiantly root out the scourge of terrorism from the country.
