Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart Rana Sanaullah on Monday made scathing remarks against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman stating that as long as Imran Khan remains in the political arena, meaningful dialogue will remain elusive.
In an interview with Samaa TV's program "Nadeem Malik Live", Sanaullah stressed the need for a grand dialogue to address the country's pressing issues, asserting that even if Imran Khan were to retain power, it wouldn't suffice to resolve the nation's challenges.
Furthermore, Sanaullah minced no words in advocating for accountability, urging punitive measures against those involved in threatening judges and orchestrating the Faizabad sit-in.
Sanaullah's comments come amid heightened tensions following a letter from six judges of the Islamabad High Court to the Supreme Judicial Council, alleging undue interference by secret agencies in judicial matters.
Notably, Sanaullah himself served as the Law Minister during the tumultuous Faizabad sit-in and expressed readiness to provide pertinent insights regarding the event.
Highlighting the complexities surrounding the Faizabad sit-in, Sanaullah implicated various stakeholders, including the judiciary, the establishment, and a political party, underscoring the multifaceted nature of the incident.
