In Peshawar, ANF and Da Haq Awaz have launched an emergency initiative to treat drug addicts on the streets. Over a three-month period, addicts undergo comprehensive training, including physical exercises and psychological counseling, alongside medical treatment.
The Pakistan Army, in collaboration with relevant institutions, is actively working towards eradicating drugs from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Upon completion of treatment, a ceremony is held where patients, accompanied by their families and authorities from concerned institutions, express gratitude. One patient remarked, "I am grateful to everyone who treated me," emphasizing the importance of avoiding drugs and prioritizing family.
