Former senator Mushahid Hussain said on Sunday that the "country did not witness the stability" that he was expecting post-elections.
Expressing his thoughts, Hussain said: "Our policies in line with Afghanistan have failed."
"China has always stood with the country," he added.
JI calls for political stability
Separately, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) senior leader Liaqat Baloch on Sunday called for political stability.
Expressing his thoughts, Baloch said: "Political stability can only be achieved with transparent polls. All the tactics were used to keep the JI far from the masses."
Baloch underscored the importance of the voters, Baloch said, “The decision of the voters should be accepted.”
