Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted a change in weather patterns across Pakistan, with light rain anticipated in the upper regions and the possibility of snowfall in the mountainous areas.
According to meteorological reports, Wednesday is expected to be predominantly dry in most parts of the country during the daytime. However, as evening approaches, the skies may become partly cloudy, offering a picturesque setting.
Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are likely to experience episodes of light rain accompanied by gusty winds and thundershowers at various locations during the night. Additionally, snowfall is expected over the mountain ranges, enhancing the scenic beauty of the region.
Over the past 24 hours, the weather has remained dry in most parts of the country, while the northern regions have experienced a noticeable chill.
The maximum temperatures recorded across various cities were indicative of the prevailing climatic conditions. Chhoor and Mithi registered a high of 40 degrees Celsius, while several cities such as Hyderabad, Lasbela, Shaheed Benazirabad, Tando Jam, Karachi, Mirpurkhas, Skarund, Sibi, and Thatta recorded temperatures reaching 38 degrees Celsius.
As Pakistan prepares for the fluctuating weather patterns, residents are advised to stay updated with the latest forecasts and take necessary precautions, especially those residing in regions prone to rain and snowfall.
