Former Balochistan chief minister Sanaullah Zehri said on Friday that the cabinet will be formed after consultations with the allies.
Speaking to the media in Quetta, Zehri said: “I will fulfil the responsibility that is handed over to me by the central leadership with verve. We want the uphold of law and order in Balochistan.”
He emphasised the need for restoring the process of negotiations with the defected leaders.
“I accept the decision of the central leadership for the chief minister slot,” he added.
– Sarfraz Bugti elected Balochistan CM unopposed –
PPP candidate Sarfraz Bugti, had been elected unopposed as the Balochistan chief minister.
Bugti emerged as the sole candidate for the coveted position of the chief minister, as no other contenders submitted their nomination papers by the deadline of 5 pm.
Expressing his gratitude and determination, Sarfraz Bugti addressed journalists upon submitting his nomination papers. He emphasised that his primary focus would be on combating corruption and restoring law and order in Balochistan, acknowledging the magnitude of these challenges.
