A video shared by a reporter for the outlet showed Render being escorted away in handcuffs from the Crypto.Com Arena, where the ceremony was held. While the specific reason for his detention remains unclear, an arena security official cited by The Hollywood Reporter claims it was unrelated to the Grammys event. As of now, the Los Angeles Police Department has not responded to inquiries about the incident.

Just before getting taken out of the Crypto arena in handcuffs, Killer Mike won Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.
