According to details, the Pakistan High Commission in London had submitted a written complaint to the London Metropolitan Transport Police, urging them to take appropriate measures against the individual responsible.
Diplomatic sources revealed that following the incident, the Pakistani High Commission engaged with British authorities to ensure swift action.
The complaint was filed to initiate legal proceedings against the person who allegedly threatened Minister Asif.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led government had earlier instructed the Pakistan High Commission in London to pursue legal action against the individual involved.
Additionally, the officials from the Pakistan High Commission in London met with Asif in London to discuss the matter in detail.
Sources divulged that Asif had informed the Pakistan High Commission in London about the full details of the incident, which reportedly took place in a public space.
The incident has also drawn attention from Pakistan's political leadership.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif had reportedly directed that the responsible individual be held accountable.
Asif himself stated that the identity of the person making the threats would be determined through security camera footage from the area, adding that the person would not be able to escape justice.
The British authorities were now expected to take action based on the complaint lodged by the Pakistani High Commission.
