The International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture 2024 concluded today in Karachi. The event, organized by Pakistan Media Development Foundation, Ripple Concept, and Exhibitor TV, brought together agricultural experts and financial sector leaders.
The final day featured specialized sessions on agricultural finance and livestock initiatives. Major General (Retd) Shahid Mahmood, Director General of Green Livestock Initiative, addressed the participants and announced plans for similar conferences in the future.
During the closing ceremony, Pakistan Media Development Foundation Chairperson Durdana Shahab acknowledged the support from three provinces - Sindh, Balochistan, and KPK - along with sponsoring organizations.
Adeel Ejaz, founder of Exhibitor TV, emphasized that Agriculture Conference 2024 would help achieve SIFC's designated objectives and extend benefits across all provinces.
Notable speakers included Noshabah Shahzad, Head of Inclusive Development at National Bank, and Irfan Ali, Executive Director Financial Inclusion at State Bank, who praised the conference's successful execution. Abid Qamar, Director ACFID, and DG Agriculture Research Wing Abdul Rauf Khan also shared their insights during various sessions.
The international conference is expected to contribute to both agricultural advancement and economic stability in the country.
