The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of Pakistan, in collaboration with Al-Khidmat Foundation, has sent its tenth consignment of humanitarian aid to Gaza. The shipment, consisting of 40 tons of medicine, was dispatched from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
A chartered A300 aircraft will transport the aid to Amman, Jordan, from where it will be forwarded to Gaza. This latest shipment is part of Pakistan's ongoing efforts to provide assistance to the people of Gaza during the current crisis.
At the dispatch ceremony, MNA Dr. Darshan, along with representatives from NDMA and Al-Khidmat Foundation, emphasized the need for aid and solidarity during this challenging time. Pakistan reiterated its commitment to providing support wherever humanitarian efforts are required.
To date, NDMA has sent a total of 1,151 tons of relief goods to Gaza. This consistent flow of aid underscores Pakistan's dedication to supporting those in need, particularly in conflict-affected areas.
The choice of medical supplies for this shipment reflects an effort to address the specific needs of Gaza's population, as the region continues to face significant healthcare challenges due to ongoing conflict and resource shortages.
As Pakistan continues its humanitarian efforts, this latest consignment serves as a reminder of the international community's role in providing aid to crisis-affected regions.
