Pakistan Army and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) reconstructed destroyed bridge at Mahandri resuming traffic on Naran-Kaghan.
Frontier Works Organization (FWO) has reconstructed the bridge and opened it for all kinds of traffic.
Mahandri Bridge was destroyed due to flash floods on July 30, 2014.
Mansehra, Kaghan, Naran and Babusar roads were closed for all traffic due to the destruction of the bridge. Due to the destruction of Mahandri bridge, the local residents and tourists had to face severe problems.
In view of the seriousness of the situation, NHA and FWO decided to construct the bridge on an emergency basis.
Pakistan Army provided equipment for the construction of the bridge, machinery and manpower of FWO were busy day and night.
