The inaugural phase of the Reko Diq Barracks International Graduate Program is providing advanced training for selected Baloch students, aiming to develop a skilled workforce for the Reko Diq Mining Company.
Following the completion of their training, these graduates will play a crucial role in the Reko Diq project. The program is a significant step towards enhancing human resource development in the region.
The Reko Diq International Graduate Program’s primary objective is to prepare future specialists and engineers, ensuring they are proficient in modern mining techniques and technologies.
The program has also begun inviting applications from local students for its second phase, building on the success of the first.
Participants in the program have shared positive feedback. Gul Nawaz from Quetta highlighted the international scope of the program, conducted in Argentina for the first time.
Fatima Sherjan from Pasni praised the world-class mining operation training, while Abdullah Jan from Chagai emphasized the supportive team leading the initiative.
The training incorporates advanced software and technology, with Mohammad Ashraf from Pishin noting its innovative approach. Kainat Abdul Jabbar from Quetta expressed how much they have learned about mining processes.
Fareed Manzoor from Panjgur discussed the comprehensive training on risk management, blasting, and crushing techniques, and Saira Hasan from Khuzdar appreciated the focus on security and safety in mining operations.
Masooma Sadaf from Quetta urged parents to encourage their children to join the Reko Diq project.
