The Department of Education of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially announced the schedule for summer vacations across the province's public and private educational institutions.
In primary schools throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, summer vacations will commence on June 1 and extend until August 31. This extended break aims to ensure the well-being of students during the peak summer months.
For educational institutions located in the upper cold districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the vacation period will start slightly later. Schools in these regions will close from July 1 and will remain closed until August 31.

This adjusted schedule takes into account the cooler climate of the upper districts, allowing for a more balanced vacation period that aligns with the local weather conditions.
Earlier, the Punjab School Education Department had announced summer vacation in the province from June 1 to August 14 due to the severe heat wave sweeping across Punjab, It then revised the schedule for public and private schools.

According to a notification, all government and private schools of Punjab, including Lahore, will be closed from May 25. Earlier, the minister announced early summer holidays for all public and private educational institutions starting from May 22.
The Sindh Education Department has also officially announced summer vacations in all public and private schools across the province from June 1 to July 31, according to a recent notification.
