The Sindh High Court Election Tribunal has suspended the membership of MQM's Sindh Assembly member Rashid Khan.
The tribunal reviewed a petition filed by PPP candidate Mukhtiar Ahmed Dhamra, challenging the results of provincial constituency PS-64.
The court expressed dissatisfaction over Rashid Khan's repeated absence from hearings.
The petitioner alleged election rigging by MQM during the 2024 general elections, claiming polling station attacks and voter harassment. Dissatisfied with the Election Commission's response, the PPP candidate approached the tribunal for justice.
