After two consecutive decreases, the price of gold in Pakistan saw a huge rise on Saturday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola hiked by Rs2,100, settling at Rs273,400, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1800, taking it to Rs234,396.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a good increase of $21 on Saturday, reaching $2,622 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver in the local market remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
